Overview

In relevant standards such as GB 2893 Safety Colors and GB/T 18833 Road Traffic Reflective Film, a color domain (multiple chromaticity coordinate points) and brightness factor requirements are usually given. Under D65/A light source and 45/0 geometric conditions, it is determined whether the sample falls within the corresponding color domain, and whether the sample meets the chromaticity requirements specified in the standards. Due to the polygonal shape of the color block area, as shown in the following figure, it cannot be determined using a regular spectrophotometer. The NS808 colorimeter combined with the traffic sign measurement module of SQCT software can easily solve this problem.
