Its core function and purpose
1. Prevention of acute poisoning and chronic diseases (guardian of health)
Test objects: carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine gas, ammonia gas, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen cyanide, volatile organic compounds, etc.
Function: Many of these gases are colorless and odorless, and inhaling a small amount can lead to severe poisoning, coma, and even "electrocution" death. The detector can issue an alarm before the gas concentration reaches a dangerous value, buying valuable time for personnel evacuation. Meanwhile, long-term exposure to low concentrations of toxic gases can cause occupational diseases, and the detector can ensure that the environmental concentration is below the safety limit.
2. Fire and explosion prevention (safety firewall)
Detection objects: combustible gases such as methane, propane, hydrogen, as well as solvent vapors that are also flammable at certain concentrations.
Function: When combustible gases accumulate to a certain concentration (lower explosive limit, LEL) in the air, they will explode when exposed to a source of fire. The detector can provide early warning and prevent catastrophic accidents from occurring.

Oxygen enrichment alarm: Excessive oxygen concentration (>23.5%) greatly increases the risk of fire, making non flammable substances flammable.
4. Ensure the safety of confined space operations (access guardian)
Before entering any confined space with poor ventilation, a gas detector must be used for preliminary detection and continuous monitoring. This is the golden rule of safe operation, which can effectively avoid mass casualties and accidents.
5. Leakage source investigation and environmental monitoring
