Principle of Total Chromium Automatic Monitoring Instrument: In acidic solution, trivalent chromium is oxidized by potassium permanganate to hexavalent chromium. The potassium persulfate oxidation digestion solution and water sample are subjected to high temperature and high pressure, and various nitrogen-containing compounds in the water sample are converted into nitrate through potassium persulfate oxidation digestion. Under acidic conditions, nitrate reacts with a color developer to form a complex, and the total chromium content in the sample is obtained by directly proportional to the color depth and chromium content in the sample.
