working principle

Its working principle is that the magnetic float inside the main body simultaneously attracts the reed switch at the corresponding position inside the sensor with the rise and fall of the liquid level. Thus, the total resistance (or voltage) inside the sensor changes accordingly, and then the change in resistance (or voltage) is converted into a standard current output of 4-20mA · DC through the transmitter. The upper and lower limit alarms are then set by the reed switch remote transmitter to achieve positional control or adjustment of the liquid level.

The magnetic flap level gauge (also known as the magnetic float level gauge) is developed based on the principle of buoyancy and magnetic coupling. When the liquid level in the tested container rises or falls, the magnetic float in the liquid level gauge body tube also rises or falls accordingly. The magnetic steel inside the float is transmitted to the magnetic flip column indicator through magnetic coupling, driving the red and white flip columns to flip 180 °. When the liquid level rises, the flip column changes from white to red, and when the liquid level falls, it changes from red to white. The red white boundary of the indicator is the actual height of the liquid level inside the container, thus achieving clear indication of the liquid level.

The magnetic flap level gauge can be directly used to observe the liquid level height of various media in containers. It is suitable for liquid level indication in industries such as petroleum and chemical. The liquid level gauge has a simple structure, intuitive and clear observation, no blockage or leakage, easy installation, and simple maintenance. The upper and lower ends of the glass plate level gauge are connected to the container by flanges, forming a connector. The actual height of the liquid level in the container can be directly observed through the glass plate. The upper and lower valves are equipped with safety steel balls. When the glass is accidentally damaged, the steel balls will automatically seal under the pressure inside the container, preventing liquid from overflowing and ensuring the safety of operators.

The junction box should be promptly covered after maintenance or debugging is completed.

Install

Magnetic conductors are not allowed to approach the main body, otherwise it will directly affect the accurate operation of the liquid level gauge. In order to prevent damage to the float component during transportation, the float component is removed from the main tube of the liquid level gauge before leaving the factory. After the installation of the liquid level gauge is completed, the bottom drain flange is opened, and the float component is reinstalled into the main tube. Note that the heavy end of the float component is facing upwards and cannot be inverted.

The measurement method and troubleshooting of magnetic flap level gauge

When measuring liquids, the top mounted or side mounted method is used. Install a flip column liquid level indicator, liquid level switch, and liquid level transmitter outside the magnetic flip column body. The magnetic unit is placed inside the floating ball or connected to the floating ball through a top rod. When the floating ball and the magnetic unit change with the liquid level, the magnetic color block (magnetic flip plate) is flipped; The magnetic liquid level switch operates at the corresponding liquid level point; At the same time, the liquid level sensor outputs a standard variable resistance signal under the action of the floating ball magnetic force, and then converts the resistance signal into a 4-20mA current signal output through the transmitter.
