The DiscoveryMA450 thermomechanical analyzer supports testing that meets and exceeds industry standards, providing information on the material's coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CTE), shrinkage rate, softening, glass transition temperature, and more. Advanced options can be used to obtain viscoelastic properties, such as material stiffness (modulus), damping characteristics (tan δ), creep, and stress relaxation. TMA450 is particularly suitable for local measurement of these material properties, especially in manufacturing components or assemblies where material compatibility is crucial.
ASTME831, E1545, D696, D3386, and ISO11359: Parts 1-3 Non contact frictionless motors can provide forces ranging from 0.001N to 2N, and can measure various samples from soft compressible elastomers to rigid composite materials, covering a wide range.
The large-scale, high-resolution measurement sensor can accommodate samples up to 26mm in length, with a measurement range of ± 2.5mm and a resolution as low as 15nm, allowing for accurate measurement of dimensional changes.
The advanced testing mode of modulation TMA (MTATM), dynamic TMA, creep and stress relaxation have expanded its functionality, providing users with more valuable information in terms of material mechanical properties.
