Two 25.4cm (10 inch) filter boxes are equipped with 5 μ m pre filters and activated carbon, which can prevent particles larger than 5 μ m and high concentrations of free chlorine from entering. They are also equipped with hardness stable filter cartridges, which can bind calcium in water and prevent its deposition.
