The Shenshi Huiya T229/4P flame detector test lamp triggers ultraviolet, infrared, and ultraviolet/infrared flame detectors, which can detect ultraviolet radiation at 185-235 nanometers and infrared radiation at 4.4 micrometers. For detectors that only detect ultraviolet radiation, the continuous mode distance can reach 8 meters (26 feet), while the continuous mode distance can reach 4 meters (13 feet). For detectors that only detect ultraviolet light and dual-purpose ultraviolet/infrared detectors, the distance can reach 4 meters (13 feet). Most infrared flame detectors use the analysis of flame flicker frequency as an additional alarm criterion. To simulate flame flickering, the test lamp needs to be operated in pulse mode. For this purpose, the test lamp T229/4P can be set to pulse mode using a switch on the left side of the lamp. Then the test lamp will emit pulsed light at a frequency of approximately two pulses per second. The infrared or ultraviolet/infrared flame detector will be triggered after the alarm delay time. Not suitable for infrared/infrared (dual infrared), infrared/infrared/infrared (infrared 3 or triple infrared) flame detectors can only be used within a safe range
