Technical characteristics and working principle of MP FILTRI oil suction filter
The MP FILTRI filter can only be installed on the upper part of the fuel tank, with the suction cylinder submerged below the liquid level in the tank. Other performance is similar to the melon series, but without a self sealing valve. The MP FILTRI oil suction filter is installed at the oil pump suction port to protect the oil pump and other hydraulic components, prevent the inhalation of pollutants and impurities, effectively control hydraulic system pollution, and adjust the cleanliness of the hydraulic system.
The MP FILTRI oil suction filter can be directly installed on the side, top, or bottom of the fuel tank. The oil suction cylinder penetrates below the liquid level in the tank, and the filter head of the oil suction filter is exposed outside the tank. It is equipped with self sealing valves, bypass valves, filter element pollution blockage transmitters, and other devices to prevent the oil in the tank from flowing out when replacing or cleaning the filter element.

1. Filtering accuracy
The filtration accuracy of MP FILTRI oil absorbing filter refers to the ability of the filter to filter out particles of different sizes of pollutants. It is commonly evaluated by indicators such as absolute filtration accuracy, filtration ratio, and filtration efficiency. The filtration accuracy is divided into four levels: coarse (d ≥ 0.1mm), ordinary (d ≥ 0.01mm), fine (d ≥ 0.005mm), and special fine (d ≥ 0.001mm).
2. Pressure drop characteristics
The filter in the MP FILTRI oil suction filter hydraulic system is a type of hydraulic resistance to the oil, so a pressure drop is inevitably generated when the oil passes through. Generally speaking, with a fixed size of the filter element and oil flow rate, the higher the filtration accuracy of the filter element, the greater its pressure drop. With a fixed flow rate, the larger the effective filtration area of the filter element, or the lower the viscosity of the oil, the smaller the pressure drop.
The maximum pressure drop allowed by the MP FILTRI oil suction filter element should be based on the principle of preventing structural damage to the filter element. Generally, the initial pressure drop of aviation and naval filters should not exceed 0.25 MPa; The pressure drop of mechanical filters shall not exceed 0.08 MPa to 0.15 MPa.
3. Scale absorption capacity
The problem of the filter intercepting pollutants before the pressure drop exceeds its specified limit is called the pollutant holding capacity, expressed in weight (g). The larger the scale capacity of the filter, the longer its lifespan, so it is an important indicator reflecting the lifespan of the filter. The larger the effective filtering area of the filter, the greater the scale capacity.
