TZB/100.3N-K residual current operated circuit breaker
Product Details

Tianmu brand TZB/100 (63). 3N-K residual electric action circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as' protector ') is the latest product developed and researched by our company to solve the problem of outdated residual current protection switches in rural power grids in China. Integrating leakage protection, automatic reclosing, overload and short-circuit protection, and load control, it has the characteristics of easy installation and reasonable structure.

This product is suitable for low-voltage distribution systems with three-phase four wire neutral point directly grounded. It is used to provide grounding fault protection for the lines, prevent equipment accidents or electrical fires caused by this, and can also be used to provide indirect contact protection for personal electric shock hazards. And it is widely applicable to the overall protection and line branch protection of industrial and mining enterprises, as well as the lower side of distribution transformers.

This product complies with the standard GB14048.2-2008 and has passed the national 3C mandatory certification.

Product features:

1. It has protection against short circuit, overload, undervoltage, overvoltage, phase loss, and zero break.

2. The leakage action value can be manually adjusted or automatically adjusted by tracking the circuit leakage.

3. Digital display of three-phase load current, voltage, leakage current, and maximum leakage phase.

4. The overload protection value can be adjusted according to the transformer capacity or actual load demand.

5. Automatically display the reason for the trip, the phase of the trip fault, and the magnitude of the fault current after the trip.

6. It has automatic and manual closing functions, making it convenient for users to use.

7. When the leakage alarm function is activated, if the leakage exceeds the limit, only the alarm will be triggered without tripping.

8. Built in communication interface, capable of remote control, telemetry, and remote signaling functions.

9. High strength lightning resistance, anti harmonic interference performance, stable and reliable operation.

10. The function of identifying surge current waveforms (similar to animal sudden electric shock waveforms) can be set.

1.3 Altitude: ≤ 2000 meters

1.4 Pollution level: Level 3

1.5 The protector should be installed in a dry, ventilated, dust-free, and free of harmful gases, away from magnetic fields and vibrations. It should be installed vertically and fixed for easy operation. The upper terminal of the protector is the main circuit power terminal, and the lower terminal is the load terminal.

2. Instructions for use

2.1 Power transmission: Set the 'on/off switch' of the protector to the 'on' position, the power indicator light will turn on, the 'trip' indicator light will start flashing, and the electric closing mechanism of the protector will operate. When the closing is in place, the opening/closing indicator window will display a green 'closed'.

2.2 Power off: Set the switch for opening and closing the protector to the 'open' position, the protector will trip, the main circuit will be turned off, and the opening and closing indicator window will display a red 'open'.

2.3 Leakage over limit tripping test:

Press the button, and the protector should be able to trip. The 'Leakage' indicator light will be on, and the 'Trip' indicator light will be on. After about 5 seconds, the 'Trip' indicator light will start flashing (the electric closing mechanism is running and waiting for closing). The electric closing mechanism will complete automatic closing within 20-30 seconds. After closing to the position, the trip indicator light will turn off.

2.4 Setting of leakage action value:

According to the magnitude of the leakage current in the circuit, the leakage action value of the protector can be manually set, or automatically set to 75mA, 150mA, 300mA, 500mA, or 1000mA

Press 【 Settings 】 to set the gear position. Continuously press 【 Settings 】 to cycle between 75mA → 150mA → 300mA → 500m; Press and hold the 【 Settings 】 button for 3 seconds to enter the automatic gear setting. Entering the state of automatic tracking of circuit leakage and automatic adjustment of action values, the sensitivity of the protector's action is relatively high. When the gear indicator light is constantly on for a certain gear, it is a manually set fixed gear. When the gear indicator light flashes, it is an automatic gear. If the gear is fixed, the power protection device has a gear memory function when turned off and turned on after power failure, and the gear remains the same as the original gear; If the automatic mode is turned off and then turned on, and the circuit breaker is powered on after a power outage, after a period of leakage current detection and analysis, the gear is automatically set according to the line leakage.

The basis for setting gears is as follows:

When the leakage current of the circuit is less than 37.5mA, the action value is set at 75mA level; When the leakage current of the circuit is greater than 37.5mA and less than 75mA, the action value is set to 150mA level; When the leakage current of the circuit is greater than 75mA and less than 150mA, the action value is set to 300mA level; When the leakage current of the circuit exceeds 150mA, the action value is set to 500mA.

2.5 If this protector trips due to overload or short circuit, it cannot automatically close. The leakage protector opening and closing switch needs to be turned off and reconnected before power can be restored.

2.6 The auxiliary power supply used in the internal electronic circuit of this protector is N-pole and 5-pole. If used for three-phase power protection or specifically for single-phase protection, N-pole must be connected to the neutral line and 5-pole must be connected to the phase line. Otherwise, it cannot be powered on or manually closed, and there is no leakage protection effect.

2.7 When using this circuit breaker in situations where power outages are not allowed or significant losses occur after a power outage, press and hold the [Settings] button for about 10 seconds to activate the alarm function. The 'Alarm Start' light will turn on, and at this time, only the 'Leakage' indicator light will turn on when the leakage exceeds the limit, without tripping. The use of this function must be approved by the power department. After being in an alarm state, press the 【 Settings 】 button or restart to restore the leakage tripping function.

The 2.8 on/off indicator window is used to indicate the on/off status of the protector.

When a power outage occurs and the switch needs to be operated, manual closing can be used. Use a suitable flathead screwdriver to turn the 'manual opening and closing' device clockwise until it reaches the closing state and stops (the opening and closing indicator window displays' closed '); If manual disconnection is required, then turn the device clockwise until it is in the disconnected state and stop. The opening and closing indicator window will display 'disconnected'.
