Place a level parallel to the bed guide rail on the measuring tool. Move the measuring tool and record the level reading every 250. Record three readings along the entire length of the guide rail. Arrange the readings of the level in sequence and draw the motion curve of the measuring tool.

The maximum coordinate value between the motion curve over a length of 1 meter and its two endpoints is the error in straightness over a length of 1 meter.
