Measurement principle:
Surface Scatter 7 sc is a turbidity meter that uses the principle of scattered light monitoring. The sample flows into the tilted turbidity meter body at a flow rate of 1 to 2 liters per minute, and the liquid overflows the horizontal plane at the top of the turbidity meter body, forming a flat measurement plane. A strong beam of light is directed at a certain angle towards the surface of the liquid, and suspended particles in the sample emit scattered light. A detector placed above the liquid surface detects the scattered light at a 90 degree angle.
