SuperLu C8 (2) liquid chromatography columnFixed phase and bonding technology: The stationary phase of this chromatographic column is C8, with silane groups bonded to the surface of silica gel. Non polar end capping technology is used to effectively reduce the interaction between analytes and residual silanol groups, resulting in a good peak shape.

Particle size and pore size: Phenomon offers three particle size options of 1.8 μ m, 3 μ m, and 5 μ m, with a pore size of 100 Å. The ultra narrow difference in particle size helps achieve extremely high column efficiency.

Carbon loading and specific surface area of Pheromone: With a carbon loading of 15% and a specific surface area of 400m ²/g, the moderate carbon loading and large specific surface area give it suitable retention capacity for compounds. Philomen conducts separate factory tests on each SuperLu C8 (2) chromatographic column and provides quality inspection reports containing separation spectra of standard substances (such as naphthalene and benzyl alcohol) to ensure consistency in performance between columns and batches. In practical applications, the retention time RSD of the target substance is less than 1.0% and the peak area RSD is less than 2.0% using the same method on different batches of SuperLu C8 (2) columns, fully meeting the strict requirements for method reproducibility in fields such as drug GMP and food testing.

The chemical stability of high-purity silicone matrix and mature bonding process endow SuperLu C8 (2) with excellent durability. Under routine maintenance (such as mobile phase filtration and pre column protection), this chromatographic column can withstand more than 500 injections (based on conventional HPLC analysis), and the column efficiency decays slowly. Even if an acidic mobile phase containing 0.1% phosphoric acid or an aqueous mobile phase containing 5% methanol is used for a long time, it is not prone to problems such as stationary phase detachment or silica gel dissolution, reducing the cost of laboratory consumables replacement.
