Florisil particle size 60/100 mesh (150-200 μ m); Na2SO4 purity 99.99+%, density 2.68g/mL. Very suitable for removing/separating polar compounds from organic matrices. The Na2SO4 layer helps to remove aqueous sample residues that may affect Florisil performance and/or subsequent GC analysis. Suitable for determining the hydrocarbon oil index in water (surface water, wastewater, wastewater treatment plant discharge) through GC-FID analysis according to the European standard EN ISO 9377-2:2000.
