Sulzer Overview
1. Sulzer can provide process components for various mass transfer equipment, such as refined tower trays, regular packing, bulk packing, gas-liquid phase distributors, gas-liquid separators, and separation tower internals.
2. Engineering services for separation and reaction technologies, such as process design, feasibility studies, and device optimization, such as process confirmation for testing centers. Solvent recovery in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, or separation challenges that require special processes such as membrane separation and short-range evaporation, high vacuum refining, liquid-liquid extraction, membrane technology, or crystallization technology.
3. Integrated set of separation devices, modular separation equipment. Advanced polymerization technology is used to produce polylactic acid and expanded polystyrene.
4. Comprehensive and systematic on-site tower services, including tray packing installation, tower equipment maintenance, welding, and replacement and renovation construction.
5. Mixing and reaction techniques using static mixers.
Sulzer regular packing-Company capability
Sulzer can provide proprietary Sulzer separation technology for existing and newly built separation units to improve their processing capacity, improve the quality and yield of separated products, and reduce their energy consumption and equipment costs. There are over 30000 distillation towers using Sulzer technology worldwide, involving refining, petrochemicals, and chemical industries, with the largest tower diameter reaching 23 meters.
The performance of Sulzer Chemical's separation laboratory and pilot plant, as well as over 100000 towers, proves that the separation technology we provide to our customers is not only technologically advanced and reliable, but also rigorously tested by industrialization.
Sulzer regular packing-Development history
Sulzer Chemical acquired Nutter Engineering Company from the United States at the end of 1998, after merging with the renowned Dutch company Metawa; In 2000, a strategic alliance was reached with Shell in separation technology, and in 2005, CANA-TEX from the United States, which had 35 years of tower field service performance, was acquired. In December 2006, KnitMesh from the United Kingdom was acquired, and in April 2009, K ǔ nni from Switzerland was acquired. This enables Sulzer Company to have more advanced technology and comprehensive products in the fields of packing, trays, tower internals, and multiphase separation.
