At high temperatures, the valve stem does not come into contact with the medium, ensuring zero leakage of the valve stem. Simultaneously ensuring sufficient strength and toughness, it can be switched tens of thousands of times. The handwheel adopts ergonomic design, with a longer service life and easy and convenient operation. The opening and closing component of a steam shut-off valve is a plug shaped valve disc with a flat or conical sealing surface. The valve disc moves in a straight line along the centerline of the fluid, also known as a shut-off valve. It is a widely used type of valve, and its popularity is due to the low friction between the sealing surfaces during the opening and closing process, which is durable, has a small opening height, is easy to manufacture, and is easy to maintain. It is not only suitable for medium and low pressure, but also for high pressure. Widely applicable for cutting off or circulating media in transportation pipelines such as food, medicine, petroleum, chemical, natural gas, steel, environmental protection, and papermaking.

1. The installation position, height, and import/export direction must meet the design requirements, and the connection should be firm and tight.

2. All types of manual valves installed on insulated pipelines must not have handles facing downwards.

3. Before installing the steam shut-off valve, a visual inspection must be carried out, and the valve nameplate should comply with the current national standard "General Valve Marking" GB 12220. For valves with a working pressure greater than 1.0 MPa and a shut-off function on the main pipeline, strength and tightness tests should be conducted before installation, and they can only be used after passing the tests. The test pressure for the strength test is 1.5 times the nominal pressure, and the duration is not less than 5 minutes. The valve shell and packing should be free of leakage to be qualified. The test pressure for the tightness test is 1.1 times the nominal pressure; The test pressure should meet the requirements of GB 50243 standard for the duration of the test, and it is considered qualified if there is no leakage on the sealing surface of the valve disc.

4. Handwheels, handles, and transmission mechanisms are not allowed for lifting purposes.

5. The flow direction of the medium should be consistent with the arrow direction shown on the valve body.
