Standard probes are usually welded structures, made of pipes or thick walled fittings, and welded to flanges for installation on process equipment.

This type of probe has strong temperature resistance, stress resistance, pressure resistance, vibration resistance, and corrosion resistance.

However, due to the fact that welding probes cannot be disassembled during process operation, their maintenance is relatively difficult.

In addition, these probes have a larger volume, which can reduce fluid flow velocity and cause more particles to settle out of the sample. Meanwhile, a decrease in flow rate and an increase in volume may prolong the time delay for sample transfer to the analyzer.
