1、 Introduction

Spee Super Oil Condition Monitoring Instrument1100 is a reliable solution for on-site monitoring of lubrication status of key oil equipment, which can detect moisture, oxidation degree, total acid value, total alkali value, nitrification degree, vulcanization degree, soot, ethylene glycol, etc.

1. Infrared grating (dispersion method) spectrometer, spectral range (2.5-14 microns), wavenumber 750-4000;

2. A reverse sample pool specifically designed for lubricating oil detection;

3. Optical waveguide technology reduces signal loss and electrical interference;

4. The optical system and optical path are fully enclosed to avoid the influence of moisture in the air on the detection results.

5. High signal-to-noise ratio (about 7000:1): high sensitivity and repeatability.

2、 Monitoring projects and their significance

1. Moisture content (PPM)

1) Moisture can cause a decrease in the viscosity of lubricating oil, leading to the failure of the oil film;

2) The presence of free water or emulsified water can accelerate the aging process (hydrolysis reaction) of additives and base oils;

3) For hydraulic systems, the presence of free water can cause "pressure" on the hydraulic system;

4) Emulsified water and free water can be removed by filtration.


2. Oxidation degree (abs/m ²)


1) Direct and key parameters characterizing oil aging;

2) The increase in the degree of oxidation of oil and liquid leads to the formation of sludge and paint like substances; Elevated acid value leads to corrosive wear;

3) An increase in the degree of oxidation of oil and liquid can also reflect a decrease in the anti foaming, anti-wear, and dispersibility of the oil;

4) For hydraulic oil, gear oil, turbine oil, etc., oxidation degree is used as a key oil change indicator.


3. Total acid value (mgKOH/g)

1) For gear oil, hydraulic oil, turbine oil, and compressor oil, the total acid value is a direct indicator of oil aging performance. The increase in total acid value of lubricating oil is consistent with the increase in oil oxidation degree.

2) The direct threat of lubricating oil "acidification" to equipment is corrosive wear, which can also cause the production of grease and an increase in lubricating oil viscosity.

3) For hydraulic oil, gear oil, turbine oil, etc., the total acid value is used as a key oil change indicator.
