detailed description:
Simple and precise method for measuring chromaticity and density
Spot color detection cannot use a general color density meter, but a spectrophotometer with chromatic function should be used. Because traditional density meters use color filters for sampling, they can only take four segments (corresponding to the four colors C, M, Y, and K) in the spectrum, while spectrophotometers take full spectrum samples, allowing for measurement of spot colors.
Gretag Macbeth's SpectroYeeTM combines accurate measurement results, unparalleled ergonomic applications, and user friendliness to set a new standard for color measurement technology in the printing industry. This portable spectrophotometer provides all the chromaticity measurement functions required for precise measurement and control of spot colors, as well as quick and easy monitoring of color density measurement during the printing process.
Measurement function (☆ standard function, □ optional function)
☆ Color density □ Average grayscale of all color densities □ Color density difference □ All color density differences
☆ Dot enlargement □ Printing characteristic curve ☆ Dot area □ Plate measurement
□ Contrast ☆ Overprint □ Hue Error/Grayscale □ Automatic Function 1/Automatic Function 2
☆ Spot color density ☆ Better matching ☆ Wet ink filter □ Without wet ink filter
□ Set password protection ☆ Automatic color detection ☆ Dual directional display ☆ Display brightness adjustment
☆ Standard color and blackness ordinary filters ☆ Telescopic measuring head ☆ Printer/computer interface
☆ Print measurement data with date and time ☆ Circular lens system ☆ Storage of 32 reference data
☆ User guide that can be gradually accessed using the control ball ☆ Data interface RS232C

Spot color density: SpectroEye is the first device capable of measuring spot color density, allowing for comprehensive analysis of spot colors with a single measurement.
Better spot color matching: Before returning to the laboratory to reconfigure colors, let SpectroEye use its "Better Match" function to help you quickly determine whether simply changing the ink layer thickness can improve the printing surface.
