The results of small-scale and pilot tests can also serve as the basis for the process parameters of distillation substitution processing.


To ensure the protection of our clients' confidentiality, VTA guarantees strict confidentiality of sensitive product information. The information collected from customers is considered confidential and strictly kept confidential. As required, due to the possibility of VTA independently developing equipment production information, VTA may also need to keep these processes confidential to customers.


Laboratory small-scale testing:


For complex mixtures, theoretical calculations are often insufficient to design industrial equipment or determine the optimal process conditions for distillation.The results of experimental testing are the basis for the selection of the entire process and equipment. Sample testing and analysis can be conducted in the VTA laboratory. At the same time, customers will also receive samples of light and heavy components, which can be analyzed in their own laboratory.


On the distillation equipment in VTA laboratory, customers can prepare raw materials as low as 1 kilogram for preliminary feasibility studies. Distillation experiments are conducted on high boiling point, high melting point, and high viscosity materials at low operating pressures.


The purpose of the pilot test is to:

  • Determination of process parameters

  • Determine the conditions under which product quality and output can be achieved

  • Production of small batch samples

  • Determine the required process parameters on the distillation unit

  • Determine the feasibility of the experiment

  • The required raw materials are approximately 1-3kg

  • During the distillation process, observe the characteristics of the product (such as foaming, coking, etc.)

Pilot testing-Thin film evaporation and short-range distillation:

VTAWe have pilot scale scraper evaporators, thin film evaporators, and short-range distillation equipment. In addition, there is a thin film distillation device that can separate mixtures with similar boiling points.

Pilot testing is the process of verifying and deepening laboratory test results under production conditions. Based on these tests, obtain achievable production capacity to determine and ensure the product quality and output of future industrial equipment.

Sample testing and analysis can be conducted in the VTA laboratory. VTA's testing center and distillation processing system are equipped with a central analysis department. And by analyzing the feedback of the results, the optimal experimental conditions can be found.In the central analysis department, the analysis of raw materials and distilled products is carried out, and the process of distillation and processing is also controlled and recorded through documents.
