1、 Purpose and Characteristics

Mortar strength tester is a new type of testing instrument suitable for estimating the strength of masonry mortar in sintered ordinary bricks or sintered porous brick masonry.
The strength tester consists of a base frame, upper blade, lower blade, steel bar, digital pressure gauge, and other parts. The strength tester has the characteristics of novel structure, stable operation, light weight, simplicity and speed, and high accuracy.
Main functions of the strength tester:
Having data storage and data query functions;
Equipped with peak protection and normal measurement conversion functions;
Has the function of resetting the current value to zero;
Capable of range setting and calibration;
High measurement accuracy: The instrument adopts a high anti-interference 16 bit A/D analog-to-digital conversion circuit;

3、 Structural features and working principlesMechanical OriginThe basic structure of the strength tester is shown in Figure 1. Place the strength tester on the testing platform, rotate the hand crank handle, and push the blade to produce displacement, that is, the blade head generates shear force. The sensor converts changes in pressure into electrical signals, and as the handle continues to rotate, the pressure increases until the mortar sheet is damaged
