The standard recommends two flame calibration methods:

（1) Flame inner flame 50-60mm, outer flame 170-190mm

(2) The time for heating 10g copper head from 100 ℃ to 700 ℃ is 45 ± 5 seconds

If the user uses the second method to verify the flame, a flame calibration device needs to be selected. The flame calibration method is not currently considered for early procurement, and can be added later if necessary.

Suitable for research, production, and quality inspection departments of electrical and electronic products and their component parts, such as lighting equipment, low-voltage appliances, household appliances, machine tool appliances, motors, power tools, electronic instruments, electrical instruments, electrical connectors, and accessories. This product adopts the recommended product structure for the air mixing structure in Appendix B of GB18380.12-2008, and the details also meet the acceptance requirements of the quality inspection unit.

IIProduct functional features

The vertical combustion test of a single wire and cable is conducted by using a Bunsen burner of a specified size and a specific gas source (propane) to ignite the specimen in a vertical state at a certain flame height and angle. The combustibility and ignition hazard of the specimen are evaluated based on the duration and length of ignition and combustion.
