Instrument performance reaches a higher level

Shimadzu gas chromatographGC-2014The carrier gas control adopts the electronic flow control (AFC) technology developed in the GC-17A series and GC-2010 series. Not only when using capillary columns, but also with digital control of packed column carrier gas as standard configuration. The precision flow control using AFC improves the reproducibility of retention time and peak area, achieving higher precision analysis.

The detector has been optimized and improved, combining the advantages of GC-2010 series detectors suitable for capillary column analysis and GC-14 series detectors suitable for packed columns. TCD-2014 is an ideal detector for packed column analysis, using the semi diffusion detection cell in TCD-14. The newly designed FPD-2014 fully draws on the all-optical reflective structure of FPD-2010.


Clearer and simpler operation

A large LCD display screen can display chromatograms and method parameters. The graphical interface can clearly guide the setting of analysis conditions and avoid erroneous operations. The built-in help function can be easily mastered without the need for operational training.
The self check function can be used to confirm whether the device is operating normally. Regular self inspection can prevent unexpected shutdowns.


Excellent scalability to meet various needs

An increase in the size of the column temperature chamber is beneficial for replacing the chromatographic column.

Four injection units and five detectors can be selected based on the target components and analysis objectives. By adopting the method of adding units, various optional components such as injection units, detectors, and automatic samplers can be easily added after the device is purchased. Up to 3 injection units and 4 detectors can be installed simultaneously.

40mm threaded glass columns from Shimadzu GC-7, 9, 12, 14, 15, and 16 series can be used to effectively utilize chromatographic column resources.

DINJ-2014 Double Fill Injection Unit
Tailored for FID and TCD dual channel analysis. Two channels use one temperature control channel.

SPL-2014 Split/Non Split Injection Unit
Standard configuration, suitable for high-speed analysis of narrow aperture columns. Qi saving energy can reduce the amount of carrier gas used. Standard high-pressure injection function.

SINJ-2014 Single Fill Injection Unit
Specially designed for high sensitivity detectors such as ECD.

WBI-2014 Direct Injection Unit

Detector:

FID-2014 Hydrogen Flame Ionization Detector

Suitable for the detection of all organic compounds, equipped with automatic ignition and automatic re ignition functions as standard. The feedback function of automatically cutting off the gas supply when the hydrogen flame is extinguished can be achieved by installing APC or solenoid valve components. There are two types: single FID and dual FID.

TCD-2014 Thermal Conductivity Detector

Suitable for the analysis of organic gases and concentrated organic compounds. TCD-2014 is a semi diffusion detection tank that can reduce pollution and extend the service life of the detection tank. Equipped with an automatic filament protection circuit.

ECD-2014 Electron Capture Detector

Suitable for the analysis of electronegative compounds. Using a detection pool similar to ECD-14, the radiation source can be shared. By improving the insulation of the pool and reducing pollution, high sensitivity can be achieved.

FPD-2014 flame photometric detector

Suitable for the analysis of organic sulfur compounds and organic phosphorus compounds, such as the analysis of residual pesticides and odorous components. Based on FPD-2010, a new nozzle system has been designed to support packed column analysis while ensuring high sensitivity. FPD-2014 has a relatively high upper temperature limit (350 ℃).

FTD-2014 Flame Thermal Ion Detector

Suitable for analyzing organic nitrogen compounds and organic phosphorus compounds, such as pesticide residues. The detector design adopts the FTD-14 structure, which can use the collection poles on FTD-14 and FTD-17 and support packed column analysis.

FTD-2014C Flame Thermal Ion Detector

Suitable for analyzing organic nitrogen compounds and organic phosphorus compounds, such as pesticide residues. A capillary column specific detector using FTD-2010 structure. Replacing the collector does not require the use of tools. Using the optional alkali source regeneration kit can reduce operating costs.
