Continuous monitoring of pH in industries such as electricity, petrochemicals, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, food, and environmental protection

Principle: The instrument adopts a potentiometric analysis method, mainly consisting of a measuring battery and a high resistance millivolt meter (or ion meter). The primary battery consists of a measuring electrode (indicator electrode), a reference electrode, and the measured liquid, which converts difficult to directly measure chemical quantities (ion activity) into easily measurable electrical quantities (measuring the electromotive force of the battery). The relationship between the electrode potential under non-standard conditions and the activity and temperature of ions in the solution is obtained by the Nernst equation.
