SIKA bimetallic thermometerexplanation

SIKA precision bimetallic dial thermometer is a mature solution for on-site temperature measurement of liquids and gases in industrial applications. They are suitable for installation in pipelines, containers, machines, and factories without the need for external power sources. Due to their high protection level (IP65) and insensitivity to environmental temperature fluctuations, Sika Germany also recommends these versions for outdoor use.

The 621 to 681 dial thermometer is a field display thermometer with a press fit annular housing. The casing, probe, and connecting components are all made of stainless steel. All instruments comply with EN 13190 and meet Level 1 standards.

SIKA bimetallic thermometerThere are different nominal sizes available from 63 to 160 millimeters. Due to the crimped annular housing and thermometer sealing (IP65), it is very suitable for filling the housing with silicone oil (optional).

Sika Germany offers a variety of temperature display ranges, with a measurement range of 60 to 600K. In terms of connections, Sika Germany's standard series includes three different designs, six different connection types, various connection threads, and multiple probe lengths and diameters. These versions, when combined, can provide the best solution for almost all applications.

SIKA bimetallic thermometerThe series includes dial thermometers, remote reading dial thermometers, and dial bimetallic thermometers.SIKA bimetallic thermometerThe remote reading dial thermometer operates based on the principle of thermal expansion. The dial bimetallic thermometer from Sika in Germany operates by winding bimetallic into a spiral shape. All thermometers from Sika in Germany comply with the first level standard of DIN EN 13190.

Pressure dial thermometer

341 and 347, as well as 6312 to 1373 dial thermometers, operate based on the principle of expansion. The non-toxic gas (mainly nitrogen) in the measurement system will expand with increasing temperature. This will lead to an increase in pressure, causing deformation of the Boden tube. The deformation of the Boden tube is converted into pointer rotation through mechanical components and working mechanisms. The rotation of the pointer is directly proportional to the change in temperature. The 341 and 347 dial thermometers are market validated industrial solutions that can be used for on-site temperature measurement of fluids and gases in the industrial field. This series of thermometers is very suitable for installation in pipelines, containers, machines, and factories, with a long service life and no need for external power supply. The 6312 to 1372 diesel engine thermometer is an ideal solution for measuring the temperature of liquids and gases on large diesel engines, such as those used in ship propulsion or diesel power generation. Depending on the display range, they can be used to measure the temperature of exhaust gas, cooling water, lubricating oil, and boost air. All dial thermometers from Sika in Germany comply with the EN 13190 Level 1 standard.
