SICK Agent SICK Temperature Sensor TSP is a universal platinum rotary thermometer suitable for measuring the temperature of liquids and gases. Equipped with diverse connection threads and probe lengths to meet the needs of different sites. The liquid receiving components are made of 1.4305 stainless steel. Platinum components (Pt100 or Pt1000, compliant with IEC 60751 standard, Class B accuracy level) are located at the top of the measuring insert. The electrical connection is achieved through M12 x 1 circular plug connectors. The structure and its space saving feature make it very suitable for narrow installation situations.

SICK temperature sensorLike any thermistor thermometer, the Pt100 sensor utilizes the effect of metal changing its resistance as the temperature changes. The measurement range of Pt100 sensors varies depending on the instrument, sensing element, and accuracy level. At a temperature of 0 ° C, Pt100 has a nominal resistance value of 100 Ω (ohm) for measuring resistance. When the temperature drops or rises, the resistance also changes. This change is consistent with the characteristic curve defined by international standards. Therefore, the temperature can be determined very accurately based on the measured resistance value.
