Use of roller paver
1. Preparation before use
① Check if the motor power and grounding wires are safe and reliable;
② Check if all connecting bolts are loose;
③ Check whether the electrical control system is sensitive and reliable;
④ Check all lubrication points, such as bearings, chains, etc., add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil to ensure good lubrication;
⑤ The steel formwork should be firmly supported. And ensure that its upper surface is flat and in the same plane.
2. Construction operations
① Transport the machine to the construction site and place the two walking rollers flat on the formwork (or turn on the power first and start the walking motor to make the machine travel along the pre built slope to the formwork)
② Connect the power supply, run the machine idle for 2-3 minutes, and confirm that all parts of the machine are working properly before proceeding with construction operations.
③ Spread concrete on the road surface to be paved, roughly level the concrete and raise it above the formwork, then start the machine to move forward and backward, compact and vibrate until the required flatness is achieved. Start the vibration roller first, and then start the walking roller to move the machine forward. If the material pile in front of the paving roller is too high and the machine is difficult to move, the walking motor can be turned off to stop the machine from moving forward. After the concrete material is spread out, it can continue to move forward. After leveling a section, make the machine walk back and forth repeatedly 2-3 times, vibrating while walking, to achieve the required smoothness and compactness of the road surface. Then you can proceed to the next stage of paving.
④ Walking direction control
When paving bends or when the machine is biased towards one side of the template, the steering mechanism can be operated by the steering wheel to turn and correct the deviation, keeping the direction of the machine parallel to the template. The specific operation method is as follows:

The machine moves forward, and the paving roller rotates counterclockwise. If the steering wheel is turned clockwise, the machine turns to the left. When laying the concrete material in front of the paving roller, the turning is more obvious.
When the machine is biased towards one side of the template, such as towards the operator's side, the machine can be first rotated to the left (or right) by a specified angle, and then moved forward or right. When the machine reaches the middle position between the two templates, the deviation is corrected, and then it can be turned to the right or left to adjust the direction of the machine's movement.
It should be noted that when the machine has a slight deviation or the walking direction is not correct, the steering should be used to adjust it in a timely manner to prevent track dropping when the deviation is large.

Maintenance and upkeep of roller paver

1. At the end of each construction shift, the concrete adhering to the rollers should be cleaned up to prevent it from solidifying on the rollers and affecting the next operation.

2. Lubricating grease should be added to each bearing part once a week, and lubricating oil should be regularly added to each chain to maintain good lubrication. At the same time, attention should be paid to avoiding sand and other debris from entering the chain to prevent premature damage.

3. Generally, a comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the machine should be conducted once a month or at the end of each construction period.

4. Regular attention should be paid to the tightness of the V-belt and chain. If they are too loose, they should be adjusted in a timely manner. The fastening bolts should also be adjusted regularly to prevent loosening.

5. When the machine is not in use for a long time, it should be parked on a flat ground and the paving roller should be lowered to contact the ground to avoid hanging and prevent the roller shaft from bending.

6. When transferring the machine to a work site, if the distance is close and the site is spacious and flat, it can be moved automatically. Otherwise, other transportation tools should be used to move it.
