1、 Product Introduction
The XS2 laser snow depth monitoring station adopts laser recognition and measurement technology for snow, overcoming the shortcomings of sensors such as ultrasonic waves, electromagnetic waves, and weight that cannot recognize snow, thus achieving high detection accuracy. By monitoring the distance of the location, the thickness of the snow can be determined, and the snowfall per unit time can be analyzed. This device can be used as an independent automatic snow depth monitoring and alarm system, or networked to form a diversified network monitoring.
Application scope: Widely used in meteorological stations, port and dock safety monitoring, road traffic safety monitoring, aviation monitoring, building safety monitoring, agricultural production monitoring, hydrology and water conservancy, and many other fields.
Measurement principle: The snow depth sensor uses the principle of a phase laser rangefinder to measure the depth of snow. Phase is the frequency of the radio band used for laser ranging, which modulates the amplitude of the laser beam and measures the phase delay generated by the modulated light traveling back and forth to the measuring line once. Then, based on the wavelength of the modulated light, the distance represented by this phase delay is converted. By using indirect methods to determine the time required for light to travel back and forth through the measuring line, the snow depth can be calculated.
