1. Internal leakage of leak detector
(1) Internal sealing structure
When there is a leak inside the leak detector, it will cause significant interference to the leak detection work, which can easily lead to false detection and misjudgment. The main sealing part inside the helium mass spectrometer leak detector is located behind the leak detector, above the heat shield.
① The connection between the leak detector test port and the valve module is sealed with glue. If the leak detector encounters strong vibrations during transportation, it is easy for the sealant to crack at this location.
② The connection points between each solenoid valve and valve component. The sealing method uses fluororubber rings or metal gaskets for sealing. The sealing life of rubber rings is limited, and there may be sealing failure when used for more than 5 years.
③ The sealing parts at the interfaces of each component. Metal gasket sealing or rubber ring sealing between interfaces such as amplifiers and mass spectrometry chambers, ion sources and mass spectrometry chambers, molecular pumps and mass spectrometry chambers, standard leak holes and valve components, vacuum gauges and valve components, etc.
