Recombinant mouse chemokine ligand 2

C-C Motif chemokine ligand 2 (CCL2) is a 13.88 kDa cytokine containing 125 amino acid residues, also known as monocyte chemoattractant protein 1 (MCP1). CCL2 is mainly secreted by monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. It regulates many biological functions, such as the recruitment of monocytes, memory T cells, eosinophils, and dendritic cells, assists in T cell extravasation, responds to TNF alpha and IFN gamma, and angiogenesis. In addition, after binding to CCR4, it can also initiate the migration response of white blood cells to inflammation.
