Main features
The rail pressure sensor is used to accurately measure the pressure inside the common rail tube. The pressure is transmitted to the diaphragm through a blind hole, and the diaphragm deforms, causing a change in the resistance value of the silicon wafer on the diaphragm and a change in the voltage value of the bridge. Then, the chip adjusts and amplifies it to generate a linear voltage, which is fed back to the ECU. The pressure value is calculated based on the characteristic curve stored in the ECU.
Rail pressure sensor measures the fuel pressure in the common rail. As soon as the pressure travels through a blind hole to the membrane,it bends the membrane with a change of silicon slice resistance value and bridge voltage. The change is then amplified into linear voltage and reflected back to ECU. The final pressure value is calculated with a specially stored characteristic curve.
