The RF capacitive liquid level switch adopts advanced RF admittance technology to overcome the defect of capacitive level meters that cannot eliminate the influence of conductive hanging materials. It is not affected by water vapor, dust or condensation, and has the advantages of long-term stable and reliable operation, high sensitivity, good linearity, high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, etc. Can be used for liquid, oil, and solid level measurement, without movable parts.
The HY-SP500 RF capacitor level switch is an improved version of the existing capacitive level switch. Due to the high viscosity of the medium adhering to the probe of the capacitive level switch, false alarms are generated. To eliminate this phenomenon, a special substance is added as an insulating electrode between the active and grounded parts. The probe often experiences the phenomenon of being adhered to by the medium, resulting in a capacitance and resistance in these three parts. Because the electromagnetic fields of the effective and protective parts are circular, there is no current passing through the medium between the electrodes. The RF admittance level switch utilizes this principle to add protective parts to the effective and grounded parts to shield admittance current, which reaches the tank wall from the effective and grounded parts of the medium. Although there is a small amount of admittance current between the protective and effective parts, the circuit will not consider this current value. Due to the presence of protective components, only the changing admittance current between the effective part and the tank wall is detected by the current. Therefore, only when the probe is connected to the medium, there will be an accurate signal. The accuracy of a signal is proportional to the dielectric constant of the medium and inversely proportional to its resistance value. This signal is easily detected by the circuit and has an output control signal. Therefore, this type of special electrode structure can detect media of different compositions without being affected by the viscous media covering it.
