Assisting in the early diagnosis of chikungunya virus infection, suitable for rapid screening of suspected cases.Detection PrincipleColloidal gold immunochromatography: detection line (T-line): coated with mouse anti human IgM μ chain antibody, antigen. Control line (C line): coated with anti Chikungunya antibody. Gold conjugate antigen: Chikungunya recombinant antigen labeled with colloidal gold. Reaction process: The IgM antibody in the sample binds to the gold labeled antigen to form a complex, which is captured by the T-line during chromatography and forms a purple red band; C line ensures the normal chromatography process.operating stepsSample preparation: Whole blood, serum, or plasma samples should be separated as soon as possible to avoid hemolysis. Refrigerated samples need to be restored to room temperature, while frozen samples need to be thawed and mixed thoroughly. Testing process: Open the aluminum foil bag, take out the testing card and place it flat. Whole blood sample: Add 2 drops (approximately 70 μ L) of whole blood to the sampling well, and then add 1 drop of buffer solution. Serum/plasma samples: Add 1 drop (approximately 35 μ L) to the sample well, and then add 2 drops of buffer solution. Wait for 15 minutes to read the result, if it exceeds 20 minutes, the result will be invalid.

Result interpretation

Positive: Both T and C lines show purple red bands. Negative: Only the C-line shows a purple red band. Invalid: The C-line is not displaying and needs to be retested. Caution: This is only for in vitro diagnosis and is used for human whole blood, serum, or plasma samples. Result interpretation: A negative result cannot rule out infection, and clinical symptoms and other testing methods need to be combined. Storage conditions: Store in a dark and dry place at 4-30 ℃, with a shelf life of 24 months. Use within 1 hour after opening the aluminum foil bag. Waste disposal: Positive samples are treated as medical waste, while negative samples are treated as general garbage.
