The use of membrane biotechnology in hospital sewage treatment equipment is a new process that combines biological treatment technology with membrane separation technology, replacing the traditional secondary sedimentation tank. It can efficiently perform solid-liquid separation and obtain stable reclaimed water for direct use. It can also maintain a high concentration of microorganisms in the biological pool, with less residual sludge in the process, effectively removing ammonia nitrogen, and the effluent suspended solids and turbidity are close to zero
Equipment process flow

Process description
The sewage enters the regulating tank through the grid and then enters the bioreactor through the lifting pump. The aeration machine is activated by the PLC controller for oxygenation. The effluent from the bioreactor enters the membrane separation treatment unit through the circulation pump, and the concentrated water returns to the regulating tank. The membrane separated water is disinfected by rapid mixing method with sodium hypochlorite and chlorine tablets, and then enters the reclaimed water storage tank. The backwash pump uses the treated water in the cleaning tank to backwash the membrane treatment equipment,[1]Return the backwash sewage to the regulating tank. Control the opening and closing of the lift pump by regulating the water level inside the bioreactor. The filtration and backwashing operations of the membrane unit can be controlled automatically or manually. When the membrane unit requires chemical cleaning operation, close the inlet valve and sewage circulation valve, open the chemical cleaning valve and chemical circulation valve, start the chemical circulation pump, and perform chemical cleaning operation.
This integrated bioreactor is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC). It has the following functions:
·The entire process of membrane bioreactor adopts an automatic control system, greatly reducing the operating and management costs.
·When the water level in the bioreactor reaches a high level, the lift pump stops running, and when the water level drops to a low level, the lift pump automatically starts.
·Automatically turn on and off the circulating pump based on the water level in the reclaimed water storage tank. The complete set of equipment for heavy metal wastewater treatment automatically starts and stops the dosing pump, and the dosing amount can be adjusted as needed.
·Automatically run membrane cleaning and disinfection programs.[2]
·The motor is equipped with overcurrent and overload protection.
The existing reclaimed water reuse projects generally have problems such as poor treatment efficiency, high operating costs, and large facility footprint, resulting in unsatisfactory operation of the treatment facilities. Therefore, China's urban water treatment industry urgently needs to develop economically efficient and applicable treatment processes and supporting equipment.
