Description of Rexroth REXROTH relief valve (pilot control valve):

DBT type relief valve is a remote control valve designed with a valve seat, used to limit system pressure. The setting can be manually completed by adjusting type (4). These valves are mainly composed of a housing (1), a valve frame (2), and related valve seats (3). In the unloading position, the valve frame (2) is pushed into the valve seat (3) and blocks the connection between P and T. If the hydraulic pressure is equal to the force set at adjustment type (4), the valve controls the set pressure. By lifting the valve frame (2) away from the valve seat (3), excess hydraulic oil will flow from P to T. After the spring (5) is in the unloaded state, a small pressure of 3 bar (spring preload) can be determined. These valves are mainly used as pilot control valves to indirectly control larger flow rates.
