ProLIMS laboratory information management system has a development history of more than ten years in China, and currently the most widely used products are of the same type from abroad. The main innovation of our company's product is the combination of experienced laboratory management personnel (with over ten years of experience) for product development. The system process is more closely related to laboratory work and can effectively solve problems in the practical application of laboratory information systems.
ProLIMS design principles * comply with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 standard (General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories). ISO17025 is a standard for laboratory accreditation services, and the new version was released in 2017. The China National Accreditation Service for Laboratories (CNAS) is a laboratory accreditation body in China, responsible for the ISO 17025 standard accreditation of all laboratories nationwide. All calibration and testing laboratories can adopt and implement the ISO17025 standard, and any data provided by laboratories that pass the ISO17025 standard has legal effect and is recognized. Through the implementation of standards, the accuracy of experimental data and results has been improved, the laboratory's reputation and social recognition have been expanded, thereby greatly enhancing economic and social benefits.
The main purpose of LIMS is to serve inspection and testing laboratories, and the access at the laboratory end is mainly for laboratory instrument testing data. Therefore, the business architecture of ProLIMS system mainly consists of three key parts: data acquisition layer, system platform layer, and system application layer.
Figure 1-3 ProLIMS System Business Framework Diagram
1.1 ProLIMS Laboratory Information Management SystemInstrument data acquisition layer:
The system automatically collects the detection data of the instrument through the DCU (Data Acquisition Module). This layer covers the following situations:
(1) Instruments with workstation software;
(2) Instruments with RS232 and USB output ports can be directly connected to the instrument through the setting of serial port parameters, and real-time data can be read from the instrument;
(3) For analytical instruments that do not provide output interfaces, manually inputting the result data into the LIMS system is the solution. The Data Collection Unit (DCU) is a built-in parsing function that allows instrument collection services to locate the directory of stored spectra and raw data on the instrument workstation, backup files on the server and database, improve work efficiency, and reduce data entry errors, ensuring traceability in the overall application environment, making it possible to share laboratory data across the entire enterprise.
1.2 ProLIMS Laboratory Information Management SystemPlatform Layer
It refers to a laboratory information management software platform based on B/S architecture. Firstly, it determines whether the automatically collected testing data meets the requirements through built-in standard methods, and then generates relevant reports automatically based on the built-in testing report template. 2、 Standardize the management of relevant laboratory processes, enabling the continuous preservation and traceability of laboratory testing data, ensuring the authenticity of laboratory testing data. 3、 It is possible to conduct horizontal and vertical statistical analysis on a large amount of detection data to improve the comprehensive ability of the laboratory.
1.3 Monitoring business management and information release, application layer:
Using laboratory information management software platform, achieve full process management of monitoring business, comprehensive resource management (human, machine, material, law, environment), comprehensive quality management and control, and statistical analysis of testing data, thereby realizing information sharing and communication among management, relevant departments, and monitoring departments.
