Overview

The sterilization process of a large steam sterilizer involves placing the items to be sterilized in a sealed, pressurized sterilization pot. How to deal with heating faults in high-pressure sterilizers:

1. Fault: When using the high-pressure sterilizer, the heating function fails, resulting in the inability to generate steam normally. When the high-pressure sterilizer is running, the heating indicator light on the panel is on, but the temperature indicator does not rise, and the high-pressure sterilizer remains at room temperature.

2. Solution: Open the side panel of the high-pressure sterilizer, and the panel displays normally, indicating that the 220V power supply has entered the control circuit normally. Remove the wires connected to the heating tube and use a multimeter to check the resistance of the heating tube. Generally, the resistance is between 8-15 Ω. If the resistance is too high, it indicates an internal open circuit in the heating tube and needs to be replaced. Since there is a reason for the burnout of the heating tube of the high-pressure sterilizer, regardless of whether the heating tube of the high-pressure sterilizer is good or bad, the solid-state relay controlling the heating tube of the high-pressure sterilizer should be checked first. When the high-pressure sterilizer is powered on, the input voltage of its relay should be around 12vDC, and the output voltage should be around 220VAC. If the input of the high-pressure sterilizer is normal but the output is abnormal, this relay must be replaced; If the input of the high-pressure sterilizer is abnormal, the load output control part on the control circuit must be checked.
