The Savillex DST-4000 acid purifier in the United States extracts high-purity acids through a sub boiling distillation process and is widely used in the field of metal trace analysis. The DST-4000 consists of an acid chamber and a condensation chamber, with the acid chamber located below and covered with an electric heating jacket on the outside. All components in contact with acid are made of high-purity PFA material. The acid injection tube is located in front of the instrument for easy operation. By adding the acid that needs to be purified into the acid injection tube, the original acid is gradually injected from the bottom of the acid chamber. The volume of acid in the acid chamber is displayed by the liquid level indicator on the acid injection tube. The electric heating sleeve is controlled by a variable temperature digital temperature controller. The distillation temperature can be adjusted between 40 ℃ (104 Fahrenheit) and 90 ℃ (194 Fahrenheit). Heating the acid in the acid chamber can generate high-purity acid vapor. After the acid vapor comes into contact with the condensation chamber wall above, it condenses and is directly introduced into two 2L high-purity PFA collection bottles through the collection channel. The dome design of the condensation chamber enables efficient air cooling to condense acid vapor without the need for cooling water, making instrument installation simple and cost-effective. The exhaust port design of the condensation chamber and collection bottle allows air to enter the main unit during acid distillation, and to be discharged after collecting acid in the collection bottle. All exhaust ports are equipped with PTFE filter membranes to prevent air from carrying impurities into the distillation system. The pressure balance tube can maintain pressure balance in the system during acid addition and emptying.
