Portable three cup anemometer

The portable three cup anemometer adopts a low-power design, LCD display, high sensitivity, and fast calculation speed. It can simultaneously measure five parameters: instantaneous wind speed, instantaneous wind level, average wind speed, average wind level, and corresponding wave height. It has a data latch function for easy reading and indicates the wind direction when measuring wind speed. Portable anemometers are small in size, light in weight, fully functional, and energy-efficient. They can be widely used in fields such as agriculture, forestry, environment, oceanography, scientific research, and meteorological education to measure atmospheric wind parameters.

1. Wind direction section: The meteorological grade three cup wind direction and speed meter consists of a wind vane, a wind direction dial (magnetic compass), etc. The wind direction indication is determined by the position of the wind direction pointer on the wind direction dial.

2. Wind speed section: Using a traditional three cup rotating frame structure, the microcontroller inside the instrument samples and calculates the output frequency of the wind speed sensor. Finally, the instrument outputs instantaneous wind speed, one minute average wind speed, instantaneous wind level, one minute average wind level, average wind speed, and corresponding wave height. The measured parameters are displayed directly in numbers on the LCD monitor.
