The double cone rotary vacuum dryer is a drying equipment that integrates mixing and vacuum drying. The process of vacuum drying is to place the dried material in a sealed cylinder, and use a vacuum system to continuously heat the dried material while vacuuming, so that the moisture inside the material diffuses to the surface through pressure or concentration differences. Water molecules (or other non condensable gases) gain sufficient kinetic energy on the surface of the material, overcome the mutual attraction between molecules, and diffuse into the low-pressure space of the vacuum chamber. They are then pumped away by a vacuum pump to complete the separation from the solid.

The double cone rotary vacuum dryer is a double cone rotary tank body. Inside the tank, steam or hot water is introduced into the jacket for heating under vacuum. The heat comes into contact with the wet material through the inner wall of the tank body. The water vapor evaporated by the wet material after absorbing heat is pumped out through the vacuum exhaust pipe by the vacuum pump. Due to the vacuum state inside the tank and the continuous flipping of the material inside and outside by the rotation of the tank, the drying speed of the material is accelerated, the drying efficiency is improved, and the goal of uniform drying is achieved. The double cone rotary vacuum dryer system mainly consists of a double cone rotary vacuum dryer, condenser, dust collector, vacuum pumping system, heating system, cooling system, electronic control system, etc.

1. Pre driving inspection:

a、 Turn on the vacuum pump to check for leaks at the pipeline connections and packing boxes, good sealing at the inlet and outlet ports, and sensitive response of the vacuum gauge.

b、 Open the cooling water valve to check the connection of the heat transfer pipeline, whether the packing box leaks, and whether the pressure gauge responds sensitively.

c、 Check if all instruments, buttons, and indicator lights in the electrical control cabinet are functioning properly, verify if the grounding wire is in good condition, and if there is any leakage or short circuit.

d、 Fill each oil cup with lubricating grease, start the motor and run it empty, listen for the noise to see if it is normal. If it is not normal, check the source of the noise and eliminate it.

2. Add the dry material to the container (vacuum feeding is used for powdered, fine granular, and slurry materials), and then close the feeding hole cover.

3. After closing the vacuum valve, turn on the vacuum pump to create negative pressure (600-755 mmHg) inside the drying container.

4. Close the power switch, start the motor, press the work button, and the dryer starts rotating.

5. Open the valve of the heat carrier and allow it to enter the interlayer of the drying container for testing according to the process requirements.

6. After the material is dried, first close the heat transfer valve, and then inject cooling water into the interlayer. After the material cools to room temperature, stop vacuuming. Open the vacuum valve, turn off the motor, stop the dryer from rotating, and open the hole cover to discharge the material.
