Product Details

Core Structure and Materials
Rope body: commonly used high-strength polypropylene filament, polyethylene (with anti-aging agent added), hollow braided, non absorbent, can float on the water surface; Standard diameter ≥ 8mm, breaking strength ≥ 5kN; color is mostly eye-catching orange; The length is usually 30m (SOLAS requirement: take the larger of twice the storage height and 30m).
Plastic shell: Made of high-strength engineering plastic, waterproof and impact resistant, with built-in reels for neat storage and quick release/retrieval of ropes, and some with buckles fixed to lifebuoys.

It is a specialized floating rope that comes with a plastic shell lifebuoy, with a plastic protective shell on the outer layer for easy storage, wear resistance, and quick release; Mainly used in water bodies such as ships, docks, and water parks, it is used to throw lifebuoys and drag drowning people to a safe area, while avoiding rope tangles, entanglement, or cuts from sharp objects.

Standard requirements (international SOLAS+domestic CB/T, GB/T)
The rope must not be twisted, its floatability meets the standard, and it will not sink in both freshwater and seawater;
Diameter ≥ 8mm, length: not less than twice the height above the light load waterline of the storage location or 30m, whichever is greater;
The protective shell should be firm, not fall off after falling into the water, and release smoothly;
Overall anti-aging, seawater corrosion resistance and UV resistance.
Key points for use and maintenance
Before use: Check the shell for cracks, ropes for broken strands, wear, and mold; When throwing, avoid getting ropes around your hands to prevent being quickly pulled and scratched;
After use: Rinse the salt/dirt with clean water, let it dry in the shade, and then retract it into the shell to avoid direct sunlight exposure;
Storage: Keep in a dry and ventilated place, away from acids, bases, heat sources, and sharp objects; Regularly (such as quarterly) retest, and replace immediately when aging/damage is severe.
Common specifications and selection
Regular model: 8mm x 30m orange polypropylene float cable+plastic storage case;
Enhanced version: 10-12mm rope with higher breaking force, suitable for large ships and open waters with strong winds and waves;
Differentiation: Do not confuse with the "handle rope" of the lifebuoy (the grabbing rope of the enclosure, with a diameter ≥ 9.5mm).
