The nKCT-IIIA magnetic particle flaw detector for near surface weld cracks of magnetic workpieces in pipeline boiler spherical tanks is a magnetic particle flaw detection equipment with multiple magnetization modes. The instrument adopts a thyristor non-contact switch. It is a recently launched new product that not only has the advantages of a portable model, but also has some of the advantages of a mobile model, expands its use, simplifies operation, and has demagnetization function.

1Instrument Overview

This device has four types of probes:

1. Rotating probe: (E-type) capable of detecting various welds, curved surfaces of various geometric shapes, and flat surfacesPerform one-time display of defects and scars on pressure vessels such as surfaces, pipelines, boilers, and spherical tanks.

2. Electromagnetic yoke probe: (D-type) It is equipped with a movable joint and can perform flaw detection on flat and curved workpieces.

3. Horseshoe probe: (Type A) It can perform local flaw detection on various corner welds and the inner and outer corners of large workpieces.

4. Magnetic ring: (O-type) It can meet the testing requirements for all circumferential cracks that can be inserted into the workpiece. It is extremely convenient to use it to detect fatigue marks on the workpiece (fatigue cracks are all perpendicular to the axis), and it can also demagnetize the workpiece using the far away method.

In summary, this instrument has the advantages of multiple flaw detectors, with a wide range of functions and applications, especially suitable for detecting parts that do not allow arcing when powered on and have surfaces that are prone to damage.
