Pile driver product introduction

The pile driver consists of a pile hammer, a pile frame, and ancillary equipment. The pile hammer is attached between two parallel vertical guide rods (commonly known as gantry) at the front of the pile frame and lifted with a lifting hook. The pile frame is a steel structure tower with a winch at its rear for lifting piles and pile hammers. There is a guide frame composed of two guide rods in front of the pile frame, which is used to control the direction of pile driving and ensure that the pile accurately penetrates the ground according to the design orientation. The basic technical parameters of a pile driver are the weight of the impact part, the impact kinetic energy, and the impact frequency. Pile hammers can be divided into drop hammers, steam hammers, diesel hammers, hydraulic hammers, etc. according to the power source of their movement.

Installation and operation of pile driver

1、 The operator of the pile driver must be familiar with the structure, performance, operating essentials, and safety precautions of the machinery. Only after passing the examination and obtaining a certificate of qualification can they operate it independently.

2、 Operators must concentrate their energy during operation. Do not talk, laugh, fight, or make noise with unrelated personnel, and do not smoke or eat food during operation.

3、 Strictly abide by the relevant maintenance regulations of pile drivers, conscientiously carry out maintenance at all levels, and ensure that pile drivers are in good condition regularly. And pay attention to reasonable use and correct operation.

4、 Before the pile driver starts working, the following preparations should be made:

1. Inquire with the construction personnel about the construction conditions and tasks, as well as the issues discovered during construction and the precautions to be taken by the team.

2. Adjust the position of the variable speed gear of the pile driver according to the vibration force required by the construction personnel.

3. Check if the insulation of cables and wires is good. Check if the controller contacts are in good condition and if the boundaries are correct.

4. Check if the voltage of the power supply meets the requirements.

5. Lubricate and maintain each part according to daily maintenance items.

5、 Safety precautions for pile drivers during operation:

1. When the pile driver is working, there should be a dedicated person to command. Commanders and operators should check signals with each other before starting work. Close cooperation is necessary in work.

2. At the beginning, use an electric bell or other means to send a signal to notify surrounding personnel to leave.

3. The pile driver and pile cap, as well as the pile cap and pipe column (or pile), should be leveled, and the connecting bolts should be tightened and checked regularly for looseness.

4. The starting of the pile driver should be gradually accelerated from low speed to high speed.

5. The pile driver should closely monitor the indication of current and voltage on the control panel during operation. If any abnormal noise or other abnormal situation is found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection.

6. Regularly check the bearing temperature and whether the bearing cover screws are loose. Strictly inspect the eccentric iron block connection screws for looseness to prevent accidents.

7. When sinking, it is strictly prohibited to stand around the pipe column (or pile).

8. When the pile driver cooperates with water injection and mud suction to sink, it is necessary to contact relevant personnel in advance and take care of each other during work.

9. When extending pipe columns or piles and installing pile caps, workers must wear safety belts.

10. During the sinking process, mechanical maintenance and upkeep are strictly prohibited.

6、 After the pile driver stops working, the power should be cut off immediately, and the pile driver and motor should be inspected and maintained.

7、 If the pile driver is not in use for a long time, it should be stored in the warehouse. The electric motor should be well protected against moisture. The instruments on the control panel should be disassembled and boxed for storage.
