Gas cooled Roots pump - achieving high pressure difference with lower energy consumption
The OktaLine G series air-cooled Roots pump is particularly suitable for working in environments with large pressure ranges and high pressure differentials. They are a special model of conventional Roots pumps. At different power levels (from rated power of 5.5 kW to 12000 kW), the pumping speed of OktaLine G can reach 250-12000 m3/h. The air-cooled Roots pump can operate directly without any preceding pumps.

Under high pressure differentials, the pump body can continue to operate because the compressed and heated gas is cooled on the high-pressure side and partially returned to the suction chamber. Combined with the excellent process adaptability of gas coolers, vacuum pumps can achieve applications that meet atmospheric pressure.

As single-stage pumps, they are used within the range of 130 to 1.013 hPa. By connecting two pumps in series, the final pressure can be reduced to 20 or 30 hPa. When used in combination with other Roots pumps, the final pressure can be reduced to the medium vacuum range. At this point, the required engine and gas cooler for operation will be adjusted and adapted according to the specific requirements of the process.
