Electric hydraulic proportional control valve (referred to as proportional valve) is essentially an inexpensive and pollution resistant electric hydraulic control valve. The development of proportional valves has gone through two paths. One is to replace the manual adjustment input mechanism of traditional hydraulic valves with proportional electromagnets. Based on traditional hydraulic valves, various proportional direction, pressure, and flow valves have been developed; Secondly, some original electro-hydraulic servo valves have developed on the basis of electro-hydraulic servo valves, with reduced design and manufacturing accuracy.
The command signal is amplified by a proportional amplifier and outputs current proportionally to the proportional solenoid of the proportional valve. The proportional solenoid outputs force and moves the valve core position proportionally, which can control the flow rate and change the direction of the liquid flow proportionally, thereby achieving position or speed control of the actuator. In some applications that require high precision in position or velocity, a closed-loop control system can also be formed by detecting the displacement or velocity of the actuator.
The proportional valve consists of two parts: a DC proportional solenoid and a hydraulic valve. The core of continuous control of the proportional valve is the use of proportional solenoid. There are many types of proportional solenoid, but their working principles are basically the same. They are all developed according to the control needs of the proportional valve.
