Wire wound filter element is a deep filtration element used for low viscosity and low impurity quality filtration. It is made by precisely winding textile fiber thread (polypropylene thread, defatted cotton thread, etc.) on a porous skeleton (polypropylene or stainless steel) according to specific processes. It has a honeycomb structure that is sparse on the outside and dense on the inside, which can effectively remove suspended solids, particles, rust and other impurities in fluids and has excellent filtration characteristics.
A well wound filter element can exhibit the filtering effect of a deep type filter material. The ideal condition is that it becomes denser from the outside to the inside. Therefore, when winding, the density of the filter material must be controlled by the thickness of the wire or different winding tensions. A wound filter element with this inner dense and outer sparse structure can have the depth effect of a deep type filter material, effectively improve the filtering efficiency, and intercept more impurities. The filtration accuracy of a wound filter material is determined by the thickness of the wire and the density of the winding. The finer the wire, the tighter it can fit together, the smaller the pores, and the higher the accuracy; Similarly, the denser the wire structure, the higher the filtration accuracy.
