The brake comes standard with marine grade epoxy paint suitable for outdoor environments. The M400SH has a standard rated force, which can generate precise braking torque for applications when paired with the correct brake disc size.

A400-T300 SA caliper brake

A400 is an arm type caliper brake designed to accommodate a large number of Hilliard thrusters. These thrusters include spring application hydraulic release, spring application pneumatic release, hydraulic application spring release, and pneumatic application spring release. 400 requires a minimum disc diameter of 24 inches and offers 2 sizes to accommodate discs that are 1 inch and 1-1/2 inches thick. The design of the caliper allows users to quickly switch between right-hand and left-hand designs without the need for multiple part numbers.

SA thruster is a fault protection thruster that is released by spring pneumatic release. Spring thrusters come in various sizes to meet the needs of customers. T300 SA thruster generates a maximum braking force of 5580 pounds at a maximum working pressure of 88 psi

When used with the A400 caliper, the maximum pressure is 110psi.
