The operation of Magna Mike instrument is very simple. When measuring, press or move the magnetic probe on one side of the material being measured, place it on the other side of the material or put it in a container

A small target steel ball (or target disk, target steel wire). The Hall effect sensor of the probe measures the distance from the probe end to the target steel ball. The measured distance is immediately displayed on the screen as a thickness reading in easily recognizable numerical form.

Magna Mike offers three types of magnetic probes: flat, right angle, and thin articulated. The 86PR-1 and 86-PR2 probes are equipped with replaceable wear-resistant ends, which enhances the durability of the probes and reduces the cost of replacing them.
