Oil pipeline anti-corrosion coating impact resistance testing machine
Pipeline corrosion refers to the aging of pipelines that transport liquids (such as petroleum products) due to chemical reactions or other reasons. Delaying pipeline corrosion is an important part of pipeline maintenance and a key factor in promoting safety production in the pipeline transportation industry.
Pipeline engineering has become the main mode of petroleum energy transportation, and petroleum pipeline transportation also plays an important role in China's national economy. As China's oil field development enters the middle and later stages, the corrosion problem of pipelines and storage tanks, which are the main facilities of oil fields, has become increasingly prominent. This not only brings huge economic losses to the oil and gas industry, but also seriously causes environmental pollution or major safety accidents.
In addition to taking the aforementioned protective measures, pipeline anti-corrosion work also requires conducting actual working condition simulation tests on its various properties during the material selection and production process research and development stages before the new pipeline is put into use. For example, providing accelerated peeling environmental conditions for the anti-corrosion layer to determine its resistance to cathodic peeling; For example, in a closed container, immerse the test piece in a selected chemical medium gas or liquid phase for a long time, and regularly observe the changes in the anti-corrosion layer to determine whether the test piece has failed in mechanical or adhesive properties; For example, establishing an artificial climate laboratory to conduct simulated natural climate exposure tests. The simulated specimens are exposed outdoors for 6 months, 12 months, 24 months, etc., and the changes in the anti-corrosion coating before and after the test are compared to obtain the weather aging resistance performance of the anti-corrosion coating.
In the SY/T series of oil and gas industry standards, there are many testing methods for corrosion of oil pipelines, which also provide us with a set of evidence-based standards and specifications. By using these standard testing methods, we can select the product configuration plan that maximizes the service life of the oil pipeline and ensures its safe operation.
