Overview

ORPHEUS is a collinear optical parametric amplifier (OPA) that, when combined with PHAROS or CARBIDE femtosecond lasers, can output femtosecond pulses with a repetition rate of up to 2 MHz and tunable wavelengths ranging from ultraviolet (UV) to mid infrared (MIR). Therefore, it is a valuable tool in ultrafast spectroscopy, nonlinear microscopy, and microstructure applications.

ORPHEUS collinear OPA has different configurations to comparegoodMatch research needs. ORPHEUS-HP can accept high-power pumping and provide a wide tuning range of 630 to 2600 nm. It can also integrate an external harmonic generator into a highly thermally stable cavity, expanding it to 210 to 16000 nm. Wavelength adjustment does not require manual tuning, but uses a fully automatic wavelength separator. The ORPHEUS-HE configuration model also has the above automation functions, but can also accept high pump single pulse energy and extend the wavelength to 190 nm through DUV.
