1. The LEXTOLS50100 microscope is equipped with two optical systems, color imaging and laser confocal, which can simultaneously obtain color information, height information, and high-resolution images.
2. Color optical systems and color imaging optical systems use white LED light sources and CMOS imaging sensors to obtain color information.
3. 3D morphology information and high-resolution images are obtained through a confocal laser optical system using a 405nm laser diode light source and a high-sensitivity photomultiplier tube to capture confocal images. The shallow depth of focus characteristic enables it to be used for measuring surface irregularities of samples.
4. Laser microscopes using short wavelength laser sources have better lateral resolution compared to traditional microscopes using visible light (peak at 550nm). The 405nm laser source of the OLS5100 microscope can achieve excellent lateral resolution.
